Responsibilities
- Partner with the warehouse manager and sales department to coordinate all orders and shipments.
- Monitor inventory and customer demands ensuring products are available; communicating needs to the warehouse manager.
- Ensure all customers orders are processed timely.
- Monitor all logistics protocol and procedures, making sure all processes are followed.
- Stay current on all government safety and compliance laws and regulations. Work with Warehouse Manager on all safety and compliance issues.
- Supervise staff through responsible training, clear job assignment definition and explanation.
- Assist in recruiting and training staff.
- Ensure all transportation staff possess all proper documentation and are compliant with local, state and federal DOT requirements.
- Motivate and encourage teamwork ensuring goals are achieved.
- Generate reports and statistics, staying in touch with operations and procedures.
- Champion and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.
- Other duties and responsibilities as needed or assigned.
Minimum Qualifications (required)
- High School diploma or GED
- 2+ years of experience in Supply Chain and Procurement and/or Warehouse Operations
Additional Qualifications
- Experience with distribution and transportation environments with a product fulfillment focus
- Experience with computerized warehouse management systems
- Agribusiness location management experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Economics, Manufacturing, Logistics, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Statistics or related field

Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, squat, twist and bend repeatedly
- Ability to climb ladders, stairs and bins
- Ability to lift 55 pounds repeatedly
- Ability to wear all required PPE such as: hard hat, hair net, safety glasses, face mask, and safety boots
- Ablility to work in dust and adverse weather conditions and temperatures
CHS offers a competitive total rewards package. Compensation includes base wage and, depending upon position, may include other earnings such as bonus, incentives and commissions. Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications.
