KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Primary role to implement tactics to achieve the strategies of the business and operating plans at management’s direction
- Manage and supervise Trade Compliance, Logistics, and Warehouse departments
- Oversee logistics activities: Distribution Logistics, 3P
Logistics & Warehouse Management:
- Warehouse Management, Vendor Management.
- Manage finished goods inventory and weekly planning of goods and transportation.
- Act as Commercial Supplier Owner for Logistics, Freight Forwarders, and Warehouse suppliers.
- Oversee 3PL warehouse distribution network and inventory reconciliation.
- Reduce logistics costs by analyzing and suggesting improvements.
- Support Business Development with logistics system recommendations.
- Analyze monthly logistics expenses and identify out-of-budget items.
- Recommend improvements to customer service and cost structures.
- Coordinate performance evaluations and business reviews with suppliers.
- Implement process improvements in distribution.
- Analyze data and make recommendations to management.
- Oversee warehouse management, auditing, and improvement projects.
- Assist with corrective actions related to the warehouse department.
Trade Compliance:
- Coordinate and execute new license applications to BIS.
- Ensure legal compliance for import/export administration.
- Communicate with global sales staff regarding license information.
- Monitor export license status and alert ECM to potential issues.
- Maintain master file, export licenses, RPL Screening, and export management information in SAP.
- Perform quarterly and annual import/export audits.
- Oversee Export Management System and Import Compliance Manual updates.
- Maintain Export Control Matrix and Production Classification Database.
- Analyze technology & deemed export activity, ensuring system accuracy.
- Manage JSR’s Reconciliation program for import transactions.
- Facilitate duty drawback filings with freight forwarders and specialists.
- Provide training to new hires and ongoing training for JSR Micro Inc.
- ACE account owner for JSR Micro Inc.
- Develop subordinates' skills through cross-training and leadership development.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Interface for Customer Value Added Improvement Projects.
- Manage training development programs.
- Evaluate subordinate staff performance for growth.
- Maximize operations efficiency by encouraging staff suggestions.
- Handle ad hoc projects as assigned.
Skills & Experience Requirement
- Minimum of 5 years Planning & Logistics experience
- 5+ Years Import/Export Control experience
- Intermediate to advanced MS-Office Suite experience
- General knowledge of ERP systems, concentrating on MPS/MRP
- 5+ years supervisory experience
Education Responsibilities
- BA/BS Business or equivalent experience
- APIC courses preferred
Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
(Salary Range - $125,000/yr to $16,000/yr)
