Position Summary
We're seeking a full-time Trade Compliance Manager for our Los Angeles-based corporate office. Our ideal candidate is a highly organized, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Trade Compliance Manager. This individual will be responsible for ensuring company adherence to all US import regulations. General responsibility will include analyzing, maintaining, and improving import procedures, policies, and compliance programs. Additionally, this role is integral to the operations of our customs compliance team and will be part of feasibility study taskforce on C-TPAT program adherence.
Job Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret U.S. import regulations and monitor changes to these regulations
- Conduct regular internal reviews to ensure compliance with import laws and record-keeping requirements
- Assist in developing, implementing, and managing import compliance procedures
- Pre-clearance review of HTS classification accuracy of B2B inbound shipments
- Active participation in ensuring the company meets the DG requirements in transporting and storing DG goods (Classes 3 & 9 mostly)
- Support the development of an import compliance training program for employees and provide training as needed
- Conduct post-entry audits for HTS classification accuracy
- Prepare reports and presentations on import compliance activities and status for senior management
- Act as primary point of contact into feasibility study of adherence to the C-TPAT program
- Actively participate in customs brokerage tender procedures from initiation to completion
- Act as Trade Compliance subject matter expert in the Section 321 data pilot cross-functional team
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in international business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- 3-5+ years of experience in customs compliance or a related field, with a focus on C-TPAT
- Thorough knowledge of U.S. import regulations and C-TPAT program requirements
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Demonstrated ability to train others and facilitate meetings
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay
$107,600.00 - $180,200.00 max annually. Bonus and RSU offered.
