Trade Compliance Manager TCRS4366
HIGH LEVEL OVERVIEW
The Trade Compliance Manager/Business Process Owner will help drive trade automation and system solutions governing trade compliance processes within the Global Trade Management (GTM) system and across multiple ERP systems for a large multi-national company.
This is a hybrid position for candidates near Charlotte, NC or Binghamton, NY.
Relocation assistance is available.
EXPECTATIONS
Work closely with IT as Trade Compliance SME on SAP S/4 Hana implementations
Translate Trade Compliance requirements into technical solutions
Create and maintain process documentation for GTM and ERP trade functions
Partner with Regional Trade Compliance teams to develop strategy to streamline technology
Integrate Trade Compliance functionalities across multiple ERP systems
Deliver subject matter expertise knowhow, training, and troubleshooting with end users
Collaborate with cross functional teams to drive a unified approach to Trade Compliance
Work with a large project team to ensure timely implementation
Understand emerging technology solutions and trends to drive efficiency and compliance
ESSENTIALS
Knowledge of Customs regulations including HTS, Country of Origin, & valuation
Strong ability to create clear and concise process documentation and training
Experience with process improvement and project management methodologies
5 years’ experience with Global Management System implementation (SAP GTS preferred)
Bachelor’s Degree required in international trade, supply chain, engineering or similar field
Excellent communication and influencing skills across all levels of stakeholders
Change management advocate
20% travel
