Essential Functions:


 


• Empowered Official

• Provide accurate and timely local subject matter expertise to business teams

• Prepare, execute, and manage export authorizations and records

• Review and approve tangible and intangible export documentation

• Request and manage carnets

• Manage temporary exports

• Review and update Trade Compliance policies and procedures

• Facilitate foreign travel briefings and foreign visitor approvals

• Support investigations of potential violations and collaborates with Trade Compliance management to prepare voluntary disclosures and track corrective actions

• Participate in the planning and execution of audits

• Develop and deploy training

• Manage denied party screening compliance

• Complete annual SME training

• Identify and recommend process improvements

• Report to the Senior Manager, Trade Compliance in the Advanced Combat Systems sector of L3Harris, Space and Airborne Systems

• Ensure compliance with ITAR, EAR, OFAC, and Customs regulations including providing compliance guidance to both internal and external customers

• Provide leadership to business teams

• Efficiently and effectively manage a diverse workload to include competing priorities and deadlines, ensuring on-time completion of activities

• Prepare and manage export authorizations

• Certify appropriate legal authority for compliance for international shipments

• Use thorough understanding and knowledge of the ITAR and EAR regulations in everyday job duties

• Analyze (determine root cause), research (develop solutions), and solve issues in import, export, and compliance activities


 


Qualifications:


 


• Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience; Or, Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience; Or, in lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience

• Must possess full working knowledge of ITAR, EAR, OFAC, and Customs regulations

• Must possess verbal and communication skills needed to interact with all internal and external customers

• Must possess advanced organizational skills

• Must be familiar with Incoterms

• Must be familiar with air, ocean, and ground-based logistics


 


Preferred Additional Skills:


 


• Experience with OCR EASE

• U.S. Security clearance is preferred but not required 

• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt


 


In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $80,500 - $149,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
