Cibar Incorporated is a financial software development company that was founded in 1969, consisting of 14 employees with an average tenure of 15+ years. The position will focus on defining, managing, and supporting international trade finance workflow solutions for our domestic bank customers. The Cibar team provides continuous improvement and usability for the applications we offer, including first class support to our customers.

The Trade Finance Consultant will serve as a Trade Finance subject matter expert working with customers on software implementations, partnerships and support.

Responsibilities include:

• New client implementations and existing client upgrades, including site surveys for requirements and configuration details, project management, training, conversions, and documentation


• Exploring and building technology partnerships to augment Cibar’s current offerings, including demos with third-party vendors, requirements gathering, analysis/recommendations for viability of partnerships, and demoing new partnership features to current customers


• Assisting clients in understanding and navigating our products through training, webinars, and troubleshooting


• Collaboration with Project Management, Development and QA teams to manage projects and resolve customer issues


• Internal and external process improvement and documentation


• Creation of user-friendly documentation to help clients maximize the value of our software


• Staying updated on industry trends and banking regulations, and identifying opportunities to improve our products, processes and services

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Trade Finance industry, including familiarity with industry basics, processes, regulations and/or compliance. 4+ years of Trade Finance experience preferred.


• Passion for technology and proven technical aptitude, including experience with banking software.


• Excellent communication skills – written, verbal and presentation – with a professional, customer-centric approach.


• Strong initiative, with proven experience in process improvement and/or problem-solving abilities.


• Additional skills or experience that would be helpful:

o   Understanding of software implementation and integration processes

o   Understanding of SQL (able to write simple queries)

o   Experience with Azure DevOps and APIs

o   Technical assistance as needed, including technical requirements and design, testing interfaces, validating QA results

• Travel: Possible for on-site meetings, conferences, site surveys and trainings.


• Location: Ideally located in the Colorado Springs/Denver area as a hybrid role, but position may be fully remote for the right candidate.


• Compensation: Commensurate with experience

Compensation is based on qualifications and experience and may range from $70,000 - $120,000 annually.
