Reporting to the Sr Dir Global Logistics the Customs Compliance Manager is a motivated, experienced, and dynamic professional to fill the position of Customs Compliance Manager. The candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment that is goal oriented and emphasizes accountability for delivering results. 

Responsibilities

  • Manage Snap One’s Customs Brokerage process and hold Broker Quarterly Business Reviews
  • Review general brokerage operations and recommend service improvements or development of new deliverables.
  • Identifies process improvements for Trade Compliance concerns; then partners with key stakeholders to resolve and implement solutions.
  • Conduct internal trade compliance audits/reviews to assure trade compliance effectiveness.
  • Develop and/or enhance internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Develop and deliver compliance communications for internal and external partners.
  • Develop, deploy and conduct Customs Compliance trainings on a periodic basis.
  • Manage the qualification and issuance of Free Trade Agreements (FTA’s) certificates.

Qualifications


  • Bachelors degree in global logistics or related studies
  • 4-6 years experience in relevant field (custom brokerage and importer preferred)
  • 5 years' minimum experience in Logistics and Supply Chain
  • Must have strong computer skills including advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point

 

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Customs Broker License preferred
  • Experience working with global suppliers
