What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

  • High School Graduate
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience in airport operations
  • Excellent communication, writing, interpersonal skills, a high degree of diplomacy, maturity and discretion. A self-starter with the ability to successfully complete multiple time-sensitive tasks without direct supervision, particularly while traveling
  • Maintain strong working relationships with management and vendors
  • 25% travel may be required
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):

  • Undergraduate degree or certification in technical, safety, aviation, or equivalent work experience
  • Prior work experience in safety
  • Microsoft Office Skills (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Microsoft Forms)

Key Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for supporting the overall safety strategy for airport operations. The ideal candidate possess strong organizational skills, is passionate about aviation compliance and safety, and can solve problems creatively. Candidates must have strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task on multiple projects while maintaining deadlines. Candidates must maintain professional relationships with both internal departments and external vendors to ensure timely completion of all projects.

  • Coordinating and supporting safety campaigns and promotions
  • Create and distribute relevant and timely safety communications
  • Support the organization of and participate in local safety fairs
  • Assist in the coordination and planning of team events
  • Works with multiple departments to ensure safety information is disseminated to all appropriate teams
  • Archives and Maintains communications on department internal webpage
