We are currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated Supply Chain Manager to join our dynamic team and play a key role in optimizing our supply chain operations for efficient and timely delivery of our novel flow cytometry platform, VisionSortTM, and related raw materials, parts, consumables and reagents. The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end supply chain processes, managing supplier relationships, ensuring inventory accuracy, and coordinating logistics activities to meet customer demands. Your expertise will contribute to the overall success of our organization by streamlining operations, reducing costs, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies and procedures to optimize the flow cytometry manufacturing process from procurement to delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing, quality control, and sales, to forecast product demand and ensure appropriate inventory levels and smooth logistics operations.
  • Identify and establish relationships with suppliers/vendors, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier performance to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of raw materials, components, and services.
  • Monitor and analyze key supply chain performance metrics, such as inventory turnover, order fulfillment, on-time delivery, and lead times, to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Coordinate production planning and scheduling to meet customer requirements while minimizing lead times and inventory holding costs.
  • Implement and maintain inventory management systems, ensuring accurate and real-time inventory tracking, cycle counting, and reconciliation.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in supply chain processes, such as demand planning, procurement, warehousing, and distribution, to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Manage and optimize logistics activities, including transportation, customs clearance, and warehousing, to ensure smooth and timely movement of goods.
  • Collaborate with the manufacturing team to ensure compliance with relevant regulatory standards and certifications in the supply chain processes.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in supply chain management, and provide recommendations for adoption where applicable.
  • Performs other related duties and assignments as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations management, business administration, or a related field. 
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in supply chain and logistics in the life sciences or medical devices sector.
  • Strong knowledge and experience of supply chain management principles, including demand forecasting, procurement, inventory management, production planning, and logistics.
  • Demonstrated experience in supplier management, contract negotiation, and performance evaluation.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems and regulatory requirements related to the manufacturing and distribution of medical devices or scientific instruments is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in using supply chain management software and tools for inventory tracking, demand/supply planning, and data analysis.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across departments and with external stakeholders.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and delivering high-quality outcomes.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

$100,000 - $150,000 a year

Salary is determined based on experience level of candidate.
