• Coordinate import operations with origin agents, shippers, consignees, truckers, warehouse, steamship lines and airlines
• Communicate with origin for bookings, open files, data accuracy and file keeping
• Arrange pickup and delivery (airline transfer, FCL, LCL, FTL and LTL)
• Track and trace shipments
• Obtain and create quotes for shipments and source cost effective transportation
• Ensure SOP compliance and updated any changes
• Timely responses to emails and calls with customers, carriers and vendors
• Handles the full process from A-Z
• Handling and resolving Import troubleshooting issues
• Perform other duties as assigned

• 2+ years in the Freight Forwarding industry
• 2+ years in a freight forwarding operations role (import or export)
• Ability to communicate and provide great customer service
• Being able to work independently and part of a team
• Knowledge of local and international carriers and routes
• Able to cope under pressure and meet deadlines
• Great organizational skills
