Who We’re Looking For - Reporting to the VP, Retail, we are looking for a Retail Trade Marketing Manager to support the execution of our Retail roadmap as it relates to promotional planning, fixture strategy and execution, and promotional effectiveness. The right person for the role will have a strong background in marketing, retail, and visual merchandising with a knack for understanding the consumer.

  • Supports the execution of the retail marketing plan ensuring allocated responsibilities are delivered on time and in full
  • Establish and maintain internal promotion planning schedule and serve as a central hub of communication for promotional status and tracking
  • Execute, analyze, and refine the national, channel specific, and account specific promotional strategy
  • Continuously work with brand teams, sales, customer service, customers and external vendors to ensure proper promotional execution
  • Use historical data to drive growth by developing and recommending strategies that maximize promotional effectiveness
  • Working in conjunction with the Sr Retail Marketing manager to ensure spending is managed effectively and within the allocated budget
  • Coordinate the development of our In-store fixtures (both permanent and temporary) from design to installation
  • Act as a key point of contact driving activity between fixture vendor partners, graphic companies, channel marketing managers, retail team and retail marketing
  • Track and manage the financial aspect of all allocated projects communicating any over or underspend in a timely manner 
  • Work with fixture vendors on planning and deliverables such as production, kitting & shipping
  • Collaboration with creative design of sales and marketing collateral
  • Organize vendor partner conference calls to track and update progress ensuring all deadline dates are on track
  • Prepare internal communications to convey and drive understanding of project plans and activity status
  • Liaison between key retail partners and associated programs
  • Manage the cataloging requirements for new and existing vendors
  • Manage asset requirements from retailers for all Retail Marketing initiatives (logo & image sizes, merchandising dimensions, brand guidelines)
  • Maintain Dropbox library of product images for retailer PDP pages
  • Coordinate and deliver web material including logos, images, banners, videos
  • Track and capture execution of all Retail Marketing activities on both company and retailer channels. Maintain coverage report of all activities
  • Lead communication and execution for retail events and in-store activities
  • Monitor any retail employee training and servicing programs (in-store contests, spiff programs)
  • Monitor retail websites for accurate pricing and brand representation
  • Report on data and industry trends relating to trade categories
  • Other duties as needed


  • At least 4+ years management experience in a marketing role, retail experience required 
  • At least 4+ years of experience managing the design and installation of new company fixtures in a retail space
  • Strong experience measuring promotional effectiveness and trends
  • Experience in preparing and delivering PowerPoint presentations to managers, vendors and retail partners
  • Thorough understanding of merchandising trends and industry best practices
  • Ability to analyze historical retail data and draw relevant conclusions to guide decision making
  • Experience in preparation and participation in trade shows and events

Salary Description

$75,000 - $85,000
