Job Summary:

The Supply Chain Planner gathers data and conducts analysis with the goal of improving the organization's supply chain operations.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Creates and leads S&OP activities to drive customer satisfaction and expose internal risk
  • Creates Rough Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP)/Capacity Modeling
  • Drives execution to supply plans and customer commitments
  • Key driver in projecting revenue monthly, quarterly, yearly
  • Gives direction on production schedule based on customer commitments and priorities
  • Maintains adequate inventory levels for WIP and FG products
  • Plans and establishes production work schedules to meet delivery times. 
  • Works with the Sales Department to ensure internal production efforts meet the customer requirements.
  • Establishes relationships with the customers and suppliers in pursuit of win-win results.
  • Attends schedules or facilitates internal meetings to help establish priorities and assign tasks.
  • Interfaces with production on a daily basis.
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining appropriate materials work instructions per ISO requirements
  • Conforms with and abides by all regulations, policies, work procedures, instruction, and all safety rules. 
  • Provides a “Customer Service” attitude when interacting with internal and external customers while accomplishing work, production, and achieving quality standards.
  • Maintains a clean, orderly, and safe workstation and environment at all times.
  • Other duties as assigned


Education and Experience:

  • Education: College
  • Experience: 3-5 years
  • Bachelor’s degree –Business Degree or equivalent from four-year college or commensurate work experience
  • Highly proficient in MS Office applications


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Experience with ISO 9000 standards and GMP’s
  • Excellent organizational skills with close attention to detail and accuracy
  • Able to be aware of all relevant SOPs as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description
  • Support and contribute in Lean Sigma programs and activities towards delivery of the set target
  • Able to comply with the company’s safety policy at all times
  • Able to comply with the company’s quality policy at all times.
