Supply Chain Technician - Downtown - Days

The Supply Chain Tech supports a 24-hour operation that includes daily supply handling; inventory stocking; and distribution of materials and equipment movement throughout multi building and work sites. The Supply Chain Tech manages incoming calls and assists in the workload from the flow of customer calls for stat orders, inquires and solving any customer complaints.
**Note - There is a $500 sign-on bonus, payable in two increments of $250 (after 30 days, and after 180 days), if hired and performing successfully in the role.

Experience REQUIRED: None
Experience PREFERRED:
One (1) year inventory or warehouse experience in a hospital setting.
One (1) year of logistical work experience.
Education/training REQUIRED:
Must possess reading and writing skills and comprehend and communicate in English
Education/training PREFERRED:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Independent action(s) required:
Must be able to work with little to no supervision.
Inspects (QA) unit supply carts to assure that the correct supplies are neatly stocked in the correct quantities and that charge labels are attached when necessary.
Assists in training new and old employees by demonstrating correct task functions, reviewing appropriate policies and procedures.
Job duties may include the access to and/or contact with medications and related supplies.

Must be able to work rotating weekends and nights if applicable.
