We also help clients find and implement opportunities to reduce costs, improve cycle times, minimize customs duties and enhance the visibility and security of their supply chains. The complex issues that international companies need to address both before and after cargo physically moves are our specialty. Our employees provide key services including HTS classification, duty drawback, reconciliation, import and export compliance assessment, duty recovery and minimization, and C-TPAT/supply chain security program implementation. In short, we help our clients achieve faster, safer, and more cost-effective trade.

Job Description

Establish clear and concise communications both with clients and colleagues

Research U.S. Customs and Partner Government Agency regulations and based on your research draft various correspondence, memorandums, reports, and regulatory documents

Rendering Harmonized Tariff Schedule classifications for imported product

Submitting customs entry types on behalf of our customers, including reconciliation entries or post summary corrections.

Auditing and creating commercial and shipment documents that adhere to company policies and destination country requirements

Audit of entries and importer data and compile results in spreadsheet format and/or written reports

Manage multiple ongoing projects and project deadlines

Daily tracking of project time

Work effectively both independently and as part of team

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in related field is preferred and/or import experience, including entry-writing or auditing

U.S. Customs Broker license or the willingness to pursue license

Ability to research complex regulatory subjects

Excellent technical writing ability

Proven oral and written communication skills

Ability to work in an environment with time-sensitive deadlines

Proficient in MS Word and MS Excel, with knowledge of reviewing, manipulating, and auditing data in MS Excel

Basic understanding of U.S. Customs and Partner Government Agency requirements preferred
