We are looking for an exceptional Principal Business Systems Analyst Trade Compliance and Transportation Management who can perform development, implementation and usage of Information Technology and management information systems within the applications of our ERP system landscape. Working in partnership with the business relationship managers, super-users, end-users and technical team, ensure full adoption, effective usage, and efficient deployment of our IT solutions. Effectively manage the change control process, gathering the end-user requirements, and communicating IT priorities and delivery status to the business.

You are responsible for the following:

  • You will take over the technical leadership in the areas of Trade Compliance and Transportation Management platforms/applications and their integration to our ERP platforms.
  • Coordinating and overseeing - from the end-to-end process perspective - the connections of the Trade Compliance solutions to ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle) with support of the respective internal and external IT partners who provide and support the interfaces and the backbone ERP platforms.
  • Supporting the Supply Chain and Operations end user community by researching, analyzing and solving application problems for end users.
  • Actively engaging in continuous improvement of end user productivity and business process integration.
  • Collaborating with various business groups across the organization to facilitate cross-functional implementation of new or enhanced business process requirements for related business, financial and operational systems critical to the core functions of the business.
  • Efficiently managing the IT change control process, capturing end-user requirements, creating functional specifications and communicating IT priorities and delivering status to the business units.

What will you bring to the team, along with your curiosity is:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or other 4-year degree focusing on information technology, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working with Trade Compliance and Transportation management IT platforms like E2OPEN and AEB and their integration to ERP systems and knowledge of Trade Compliance Processes in a globally acting company.
  • Experience working in ERP systems like SAP and Oracle in a manufacturing industry setting and information technology experience are strongly preferred.
  • Full knowledge of Systems Life Cycle development methodologies.
  • Be dissatisfied with status quo with a thirst to introduce change.
  • Energetic team player with a can-do attitude.

Salary Pay Range: $93,100 TO $172,900 per year. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law.  At MKS, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role.

Bonus: This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, in an amount to be determined by MKS [or as applicable].
