What We Need


Cambridge Mercantile Corp. (USA) is currently looking to hire a Senior Foreign

Exchange Dealer within our Cambridge Mercantile Corp. (USA) division. This position falls under our Cambridge Mercantile Corp. (USA) line of business and is located at 1350 Broadway, STE 810. New York, NY 56149 (Company’s Corporate Headquarters) but the employee may Telecommute. You will report to the Director, Dealing Operations and regularly collaborate with the dealing team. In addition to the eight (8) years of experience as a Foreign Exchange Trader, the position REQUIRES Non-bank corporate foreign exchange (forex) experience with mid-market exchange rates.

As a Senior FX Dealer, you will be expected to work in a hybrid environment. We will set you up for success by providing:

Role Responsibilities

  • Manage the relationship of existing customers and focus on growing new business through previous relationships, referrals, and targeted business development.
  • Actively foster and develop customers trading activities through account management and client servicing.
  • Provide accurate live market foreign exchange quotes in a multitude of currency pairs utilizing both spot and hedging instruments. Enter executed trades into the appropriate systems to track foreign exchange deals and facilitate payments.
  • Deliver flexible transaction settlements Place and monitor overnight and GTC trade orders.
  • Attract new business to the company by identifying, accessing, and selling prospects on the value the company can bring to their respective business.
  • Sell to corporate clients the full product suite including Spot, forward, currency options and online.
  • Manage the entire sales and dealing process for self-generated new business from attending appointments with corporate prospects/customers to active trading accounts.
  • Conduct online demonstrations of Corpay Online as an efficient and effective payment system option.
  • Continually seek new business opportunities via referrals and networking at trade shows and peer networks.
  • Send timely market updates and marketing materials as required.
  • Make regular updates to the company CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system,
  • Share best practices with other foreign exchange dealers as well as coaching, training, and mentoring. May Telecommute.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in any field.
  • Minimum Experience: Eight (8) years of experience as a Foreign Exchange Trader.
  • Special Requirements: The eight (8) years of experience in FX Sales must have included corporate sales, non-bank corporate foreign exchange (forex) experience with mid-market exchange rates, trading financial market products, structure options, risk management, and hedging strategies. May Telecommute.
  • Travel:Travel up to 10% of time. May Telecommute.
