The Boeing Company is looking for a Trade Control Specialist based out of Hazelwood, MO (or one of the other locations listed).

Join the exciting profession of Trade Compliance at Boeing, supporting the St. Louis Fighter Programs. We are seeking an experienced Trade Control Specialist (Level 3) to join our Export team. You will collaborate with the business to understand their requirements; develop tailored trade compliance strategies & solutions that enable compliant execution to their business plans; and draft export authorization applications that are submitted to the United States government agencies.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Conducts global regulatory and statutory trade control requirements, interpretation and impact analysis. Identifies, documents, develops, plans and executes solutions in support of enterprise compliance risk management objectives.
  • Researches and identifies regulatory and legislative requirements.
  • Develops and deploys enterprise processes and procedures and identifies potential implications to business objectives and future opportunities.
  • Interfaces and provides comprehensive regulatory solutions to key stakeholders to enhance strategic alliances.

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 2+ years of experience with writing trade control authorities/export-import licensing
  • 2+ of experience working with the U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and/or U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
  • 2+ years of experience using professional written and verbal communication skills to achieve deliverables
  • 2+ years of experience in Global Trade Controls interpretation or analysis

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):.

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline (Business, Law, International Business, etc.)
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship?
  • 5+ years of experience in a role where meticulous attention to detail, with emphasis on accuracy and quality was paramount
  • 5+ years of experience managing & organizing multiple deliverables and deadlines with minimal direction
  • 5+ years of experience teaching others and leading training activities

Typical Education/Experience:

Bachelor's and typically 6 or more years’ related work experience, a Master’s degree and typically 4 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Relocation:
