Job Description:

This role will support Global Trade and Dangerous Good (HAZMAT) Compliance for doTERRA domestically and internationally. This individual will analyze, develop, and implement best practices to support the overall company vision. This position reports to the Global Trade Compliance Manger.

Job Responsibilities:

· Stay informed of international events, geopolitical issues, and changes to laws, policies, or requirements that may impact company operations

· Assist with the development and refinement of policies, processes, and procedures in relation to compliance

· ERP System Maintenance – assist in the maintenance of HAZMAT goods, HS product classification, and other data within SAP, Workfront dashboards, or other internal systems as needed

· Collaborate in the implementation of a duty-drawback program

· Support attainment of permits and licenses as needed

· Generate reports to monitor Free Trade Agreements

· Support customs or government audits by (but not limited to) gathering data, drafting company memos, or coordinating discussions with internal and external partners

· Compile and maintain HAZMAT communication documentation

· Conduct HAZMAT training for all pertinent employees on a quarterly basis

· Keep record of all non-compliant HAZMAT incidents

· Author and maintain MSDSs

· Respond to HAZMAT queries from internal and external partners, domestic and int’l

· Enforce HAZMAT compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations and procedures

· Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures as needed

Job Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree (or in process of obtaining one within 1 year) or equivalent experience

· 1-2 years of trade compliance or supply chain experience preferred

· 1-2 years of HAZMAT experience preferred (or ability to complete training and certification in the first 90 days of employment)

· Strong computer literacy skills required

· ERP experience required (SAP preferred)

· Experience in developing KPI’s

· Strong capabilities in Excel required

· Tableau experience (or equivalent) preferred

· Good understanding of the EAR, HS classification & Customs Compliance preferred

· Outstanding analytical skills and attention to detail

· Strategic problem-solving abilities

· Ability to collaborate cross-functionally

· Ability to produce effective and professional oral, verbal, and written communication

· Ability to prioritize ruthlessly, work independently, and complete assigned tasks and projects well in the specified timeframe

· Present a clean, neat, and professional personal appearance

This position is in a professional office setting, the incumbent may be required to:

· Traverse varying distances and travel between different floors of the building

· Remain stationary for extended periods of time while operating a computer or other office resources

· As this position operates in a location near a production/manufacturing facility, the work environment may include exposure to airborne particles and/or scents and aromas

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $42,000.00 per year
