TSC’s Innovation & Rapid Development Division is currently looking to hire a highly motivated Logistics Management Specialist with a focus on direct support to Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) combat operations. This position will have responsibilities for various aspects of logistical functions for sustainment and growth of ISR operations with high mission availability requirements. This is a full-time position with routine rotational travel to OCONUS locations in hazardous, austere conditions.

Applicants must have suitable training/education and greater than 4 years of experience in industry or military positions in direct support of combat operations that objectively translate into meeting minimum requirements for this position. Candidates must have a strong operational background and commensurate work experience in one (or more) of the following areas: Ground Operations, Flight Operations, Maintenance, Logistics, or US DoD Special Operations. Multiple areas of experience with demonstrated superior past performance is preferred.

Core responsibilities will include the following activities:

  • Enable Innovation Rapid Development division to compliantly satisfy US Government objectives for development and effective deployment of responsible airborne or ground based systems by executing
  • Logistical Services for globally distributed 24/7 operations in support of Government Owned Contractor Operated (GOCO) or Contractor Owned Contractor Operated (COCO) mission systems.
  • Accountable to the Senior Logistics Manager, Program, Corporate Officer, Designated Official, Trade Compliance Manager for all Export and ITAR compliance while executing primary responsibilities; ensuring all supervisory and corporate level approval is obtained prior to import or export of any item, equipment, or supply
  • Maintains consumable stockage through accurate inventory controls and recurring process; monitors, measures, tracks, reports, and identifies resupply needs or requirements at frequencies directed by Senior Logistics Manager or other designated authority
  • Conducts inventory of any sensitive, or non-sensitive items, by executing supporting checklists and subsequently reporting detailed findings as directed
  • Self-identifies trends in inventory consumption which are outside the forecasted or anticipated assumptions and initiates subsequent reports to Senior Logistics Management in a best effort to prevent any potential supply shortfalls, at any distributed location
  • Generates requests for resupply and resupply approvals through various means or processes as required
  • Processes in-bound shipments in accordance with required timelines and reconciles discrepancies with the Distribution Manager
  • Coordinates various facility entry requirements for shipments, supplies, and services
  • Coordinates and prepares retrograde of unserviceable, repairable, re-calibration and return equipment
  • Participates in multiple routine telecommunication events each week from primary work locations in the CONUS or OCONUS to support and execute logistical services
  • Generates Diplomatic Requests for approval by a Senior Logistics Manager and subsequent Contractor Officer representative
  • Coordinates and submits Diplomatic Requests to host nation GSO or applicable office for additional approval
  • Generates draft Memorandums for Exemption for review and approval by a senior Logistics Manager; coordinates further routing of documents as required
  • Monitors distributed service or support subcontract activities ensuring Operations Leads are receiving the service or support needed and or expected from a signed agreement
  • Ensures all supply, materials, or equipment is packaged in accordance with OEM recommendations or within the scope of a Senior Logistics Manager’s approved methodology
  • Responsible for following all safety standards or recommendations during packing, shipping, or receiving
  • Prepares documentation and support information to certifies hazardous materials in accordance with all guidance, laws, or regulations
  • Establishes and maintaining excellent customer relationships, and cross functional relationships in a demanding high-stakes environment


Ideal candidate will have an existing TS/SCI clearance (Secret minimum) and possess excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize work and maximize productivity. Willing to travel up to 50% of the time on a rotational basis to meet Logistical Services requirements. The candidate will be a self-motivated, free-thinking individual capable of technical discussion, complex problem solving and scrutinizing prior assumptions. The candidate will have a personal interest in growing with a scalable program.
