DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Establish task priorities, scheduling and tracking work assignments;
• Coordinate and facilitate cross training within the customer service department
• Use and follow account Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
• Communicate effectively with customers, vendors and team members
• Take incoming phone calls and respond to issues quickly and accurately
• Billing on time, zero demurrage mind set, detention, exam fees and etc.;

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1-2 years of freight forwarding experience a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize work and multi-task successfully
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
