Overview


Urban Outfitters, Inc., a dynamic specialty retailer including global brands Anthropologie, Free People, Urban Outfitters and Nuuly, has an exciting opportunity in the Global Trade and Compliance area. We are looking for a Sustainability and Compliance Analyst to support our global sustainability initiatives. In this role, the Sustainability and Compliance Analyst will help support all brands in both individual and company-wide sustainability initiatives, assist in reporting on URBN’s sustainability goals, and manage compliance of product claims.


Responsibilities


  • Maintain summaries of current sustainability protocols for all raw material types
  • Manage and approve all sustainability claim certificates
  • Collect, analyze, and substantiate climate, supply chain, and other environmental sustainability data
  • Prepare and maintain monthly sustainability reporting, including raw material summaries, supplier reports, and meeting minutes
  • Build and maintain CSR Commitment and Goal tracker, and provide regular updates to relevant stakeholders on progress
  • Assist in development, implementation, and reporting on URBN’s climate action process, supply chain goals including Scope 1 and 2 emissions goals, targets and reduction, and broader environmental program evolution with cross-functional partners
  • Collect, analyze, and substantiate climate, supply chain, and other environmental sustainability data. Support dashboard creation and track progress toward goals and targets.

Education


Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent

2-3 years of experience; experience in data analysis or business intelligence preferred
