We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Manager, Enterprise Architect to join our team (REMOTE). You will have the opportunity to directly impact the next generation of P&W digital products, services, and sites.

Reporting within the Enterprise Architecture & Strat organization, the successful candidate will be experienced in solution and enterprise architecture through SDLC processes with a passion to architecture end-to-end solutions for tomorrow’s business and technical capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work in partnership with DTLs and teams to establish business to technical capabilities, architecture runway, system designs, efforts, and funding for technical solutions to support business strategy.
  • Lead and guide end-to-end design and implementation efforts for simple to complex cross-functional enterprise designs for sites, cloud, hybrid, and IoT solutions.
  • Research, evaluate solutions, plan, and accelerate prototypes or enablers to develop business capability solutions.
  • Collaborate across the organization with architects, project managers, and technical managers to promote architecture’s practice, processes, and standards.
  • Support analysis and governance across functional disciplines like global trade, security, and others to meet standards and compliance.
  • Collect enterprise information to develop technical topology across enterprise in partnership with project and corporate teams.
  • Build templates, reference architectures, standards, frameworks, and other artifacts for leading edge, sustainable, high performant global systems.
  • Maintain the architecture practice tools, processes, and continuous improvement to eliminate cost of low quality and risks.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field. with 10+ years of relevant experience OR and advanced degree with 7+ years of relevant experience.
  • U.S. citizenship is required due to government contracts

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for all audiences.
  • Deep knowledge of: Enterprise Architecture and frameworks or Application architecture.
  • Ability to understand, analyze, and implement complex solutions from business processes and interactions.
  • Demonstrated ability to gain consensus on technical challenges and to convert business requirements to applicable designs.
  • A passion for technology, and an ability to learn quickly while staying abreast of cutting-edge industry technologies/changes.
  • Master’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related field.
  • AWS or Azure Cloud and/or Data Certifications with related experience.
  • IoT, Networking, & Mobile experience preferred.
  • DevSecOps and/or automation experience.
  • API Management & Security.
  • Cloud, Hybrid, & On Prem experience.
  • User centric design methodology.
  • Software design principles and patterns.
  • Exposure to Person-based journeys, master data management, AI/ML, user centric designs.
  • Experience with TOGAF, ITIL, & SAFe.
  • Experience with Enterprise Architecture tooling and modeling.
  • Exposure to Jira and Confluence.
  • Understanding of aerospace business and operations preferred.
  • Ability to prioritize and work autonomously and with team to ensure project vision and schedule align and is well communicated.
