Responsibilities

Global Trade and Compliance works to ensure Eastman Chemical Company is operating according to applicable regulations by properly managing risks. The Trade Compliance Governance Analyst will support the Global Trade Compliance Governance Lead with global compliance and trade activities, initiatives, and strategies.

  • Assist with the execution of daily tasks related to illicit trade compliance Know Your Customer Process.
  • Support Import and Export compliance programs
  • Support the Global Trade Compliance Governance Lead with a highly engaged cross- organizational team
  • Assist with development and implementation of risk assessment and audit processes and tools.
  • Provide data analytics reporting of trade activities.
  • Support automation opportunities and leverage technologies to drive compliance with global trade regulations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Must have critical thinking skills and be detailed oriented
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Excellent writing skills and effective verbal communication skills
  • Work in collaboration on streamlining work processes and communicating changes
  • Time management skills in supporting multiple business initiatives and meeting deadlines in a timely manner
  • Project management skills
  • Advanced MS Excel skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • PowerBI (preferred)
