Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Consumer Health business to create a new publicly traded company. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 24 months, and it will be subject to legal requirements including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as required, and other customary conditions and approvals.


It is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, this position may be conveyed with New Consumer Health. In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to the successful candidate by New Consumer Health at an appropriate time and would be subject to any necessary consultation processes.


Job Description:

The US Export Manager will have functional accountability for export sales order management Functions. They will be responsible for developing & executing an Export Logistics Services Strategy. The US Export manager will have management responsibility for the export team, responsible for ensuring affiliate satisfaction and customer experience through the effective management of the Export Logistics function encompassing order management and transportation operations.


This role is accountable for planning, organizing, and directing staff in providing timely responses to business inquiries, disputes, liaison transportation delays/issues, and resolving export issues from a day-to-day operational perspective. Additionally, the Export Manager will foster an environment of continuous improvement and incorporation of lean methodologies to reduce non-standard work and streamline operations.


The Export Manager is also responsible for ensuring the team is following Export AES compliance procedures if applicable and will need to have a working knowledge of the Foreign Trade Regulations from the U.S Census Bureau. Strong partnership and coordination are required with the NA and Global Trade Compliance organizations.


This role has global touch points and requires influencing and leadership across regions to drive results with functional teams that support the perfect order and ensure compliance with government, international trade compliance regulations, and SOX based on the global nature, the role can include interacting with marketing affiliates (countries) globally based on business requirements. This role will define the future state of the export logistics services team, while building future capabilities and skill sets. Significant collaboration across the Value Chain, Supply Chain Operations and Planning organizations.


This Position supports commercially marketed product portfolios for global distribution and assists with multiple aspects of sales order management, logistics and aspects of inventory management for new product launch strategies within an assigned product portfolio. This position is responsible for providing customer service, and exporting data and reports to management, including service/process improvement recommendations where appropriate. Responsible for developing budget recommendations.


This position is also responsible for managing export customer service processes and partnering with relevant functional areas. Lead and manage global projects related to Supply Chain initiatives.



Qualifications


Position Requirements:

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in finance
  • 7+ years of finance experience including corporate FP&A, leadership, and strategic roles within a large-scale, transformational business environment
  • The ability to lead and collaborate with a diverse, global financial team
  • Strong budgeting, forecasting, and analysis experience required, with previous FP&A leadership experience
  • Excellent knowledge of Corporate FP&A and Corporate Finance concepts, analytical, conceptual, communication and business partnering skills
  • Ability to recommend and implement process improvements
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with a diverse group of stakeholders at all levels of the organization, and collaborate across multi-geography and multi-functional teams to collect information, gather insights, and develop/design reports
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Leadership experience managing and developing people.
  • Ability to work independently, manage and prioritize multiple business objectives with the proper sense of urgency and balance workload is required


Preferred Requirements:

  • 3+ year experience in FP&A/ Business Unit Finance is highly preferred
  • Prior experience in the Consumer industry is highly preferred
  • MBA, CMA, CFM and/or CPA
  • Working knowledge of GAAP accounting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of tools and have an intermediate to advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
