Eaton Mission Systems is seeking an Export Analyst. This position is a Hybrid-Remote based out of our Orchard Park, NY facility.

Position Overview:

The Export Administrator will support the Corporate GTM Team by providing general administrative support to facilitate efficient departmental functions in the core areas for International Trade Compliance.

In this function you will:

  • Administer, update, and maintain various software databases and user profiles for software tools utilized to support trade compliance by the company
  • Research and report on related trade compliance topics assigned
  • Support trade compliance reviews and approvals of third party agents and resellers
  • Support the review and data logging of technical data transfers to external parties
  • Track and support departmental key performance indictor data related to export licensing and trade compliance activities
  • Facilitate and track US export control training activities
  • Maintain import/export records in accordance with U.S. trade regulations
  • Prepare import/export documents in support of shipments
  • Organize, maintain, and/or purge files, documents and/or storage systems related to trade compliance

Qualifications

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • 1+ year of trade compliance-related experience (Example - ITAR and EAR regulations)
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now or in the future.
  • This position requires use of information or access to hardware which may be subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Orchard Park, NY will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years demonstrated experience utilizing software tools such as MS Excel and Word
  • Experience working effectively in a team environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must be able to function in a multi-cultural environment
  • Ability to think critically and strong problem-solving skills
  • Must be able to handle multiple priorities and work well under pressure
