We are expanding in a number of areas across the supply chain and our organization is looking for a supply chain leader for both hands-on supply chain management and selling and delivering digital supply chain transformation solutions for large global customers across multiple industries.


This role will develop collaborative and visionary mindsets and design and deploy solutions across the end-to-end supply chain. Our team develops and brings new solutions to market with our customers, partners, and internal Pan-Amazon teams, so this role will include ambiguity in creative situations to drive innovation through ideation.


This role will include the following:

  • Planning: forecasting, demand planning/sensing, supply planning, integrated business planning
  • Sourcing & Procurement: supplier B2B, eProcurement, supplier Catalogs
  • Supply Chain Strategy: manufacturing & distribution network design, S&OP Optimization, control towers, global trade
  • Manufacturing: Manufacturing planning & execution, Internet-of-Things (IoT) enablement, sustainability, operations / production
  • Fulfillment: Inventory management inventory strategy, segmentation, omni-channel, warehouse planning & operations, warranty, returns
  • Logistics & Transportation: transportation planning & scheduling, route optimization, track & trace

Key job responsibilities

  • Providing supply chain thought leadership to our global customers and AWS teams
  • Development of new offerings collaborating with AWS ProServe, service teams, partners, and Amazon product teams
  • Identifying and scoping digital supply chain solutions with measurable business results for our customers
  • Conducting executive workshops with global supply chain leaders
  • Providing supply chain thought leadership by participating in industry conferences and executive briefings
  • Supporting presales activities for Global Accounts and influence activities of our Enterprise Accounts
  • Supporting our AWS Partner Network and key industry Independent Software Vendors with their Digital Supply Chain solutions on AWS

About the team

  • Masters of Business Administration or other relevant advanced degrees
  • AWS Cloud Certifications
  • Demonstrated understanding of industrial systems (e.g. SCADA, PLC, MES, inventory/warehouse, etc.)
  • 7+ years of experience in client-related interactions (presentations, building relationships, structuring and providing program oversight, working with partners, statement of works/commercials exposure)
  • 5+ years direct experience in owning or creating executive-level supply chain strategies including conducting assessments, creating & selling associated business case, and familiarity with multiple supply chain strategies
  • 3+ years in professional services, consulting, or complex sales around re-engineering of core processes to optimize the value chain
  • 3+ years in developing new programs or technologies that help solve supply chain's biggest challenges or opportunities


As this role can be located remotely throughout the US:


The base pay range for this position in Colorado is $176,100-$238,200/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. The base pay range for this position in Jersey City is $193,700-$262,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on payment and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. This information is provided per the Pay Transparency Regulation of Jersey City Municipal Code. Base pay information is based on market location.
