The SE Fleet Specialist will be responsible for accomplishing the following tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • React expeditiously to AOG, deployment, and work stop request from the field.
  • Resolve Fleet Specialist related issues from internal and external customers.
  • Coordinate the movement of assets on and off sites using the REQ, SOR, and MERLIN process.
  • Prepare export documentation and coordinate international shipments.
  • Update SAP Equipment Records and generate DD1149’s for Gov’t owned shipments.
  • Adhere to global trade, government property, and MCS&S policies.
  • Support Gov’t Property related requests (Audits, Cycle Counting, Verifying locations of assets).
  • Coordinate with the sites and warehouse to disposition all ALIS error messages.
  • Support Rolls Royce asset movements including incoming & outgoing shipments.
  • Maintain data fidelity between SAP, MXI, LSEMS, and SEAL application.
  • Ensure assigned sites are properly maintained in the SEAL application.
  • Answer MERLIN questions and Action Requests from the field in a timely manner.
  • Support SE IPT collaboration and ongoing project updates.
  • The Fleet Specialist must be able to provide report on the overall health of the assigned sites.
  • Provide leadership with potential course of actions for known issues that need to be resolved.
  • Support daily propulsion calls, JPO meetings and internal CSIPT and ISMT
  • Coordinate with the warehouse management team to properly move assets in and out of IHUB.
  • Support CORE events such as, VSM, Kaizen, Process Mapping, and RRCA

Basic Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in business, engineering, supply chain, or similar field, or equivalent experience, and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or a Masters degree in business, engineering, supply chain, or similar field and minimum 3 years’ experience required
  • 5+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or similar fleet/equipment management role
  • US citizenship is required due to government contracts

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience with military engine support, including use of MERLIN, SAP, and/or ALIS systems
  • Knowledge of government contracts and supporting military customers
  • Able to keep up with a rapidly changing business, solve problems, and see projects through to completion
