If you are a Customer Service Specialist looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! This position offers location flexibility through our hybrid remote work policy, which allows for up to 3 days per week of remote work and 2 days per week in the office at our Shakopee, MN headquarters. In this role you will provide professional customer service in dispatching, and supporting the customer with quotes while maintaining customer satisfaction goals and company objectives. The ideal candidate would thrive as part of a larger team in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you will support our Measurement Solutions portfolio across North America.

As a Customer Service Specialist, you will:

  • Act as a service business subject matter expert representing multiple business units for customers both internally and externally
  • Prioritize workload based on business needs and easily handle frequently changing levels of priority
  • Act as a liaison to the project management group in the fulfillment and coordination of large-scale projects
  • Manage issues that may pose a threat to the customer relationship, as well as process and policy improvement opportunities
  • Complete quotes, service orders, trainings, and repairs from start to finish and does so within service levels
  • Resolve problems pertaining to order administration, completion, and post order activities by optimally using resources available (reports, tools, partner contacts).
  • Understand and adhere to US Export laws and Trade Compliance guidelines when coordinating orders
  • Provide after-hours support when needed

Required education, experience & skills:

  • Two (2) years of related experience required
  • Night and weekend coverage of the customer support line required on a rotational basis
  • Strong social skills and problem-solving proficiency
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States

Preferred education, experience & skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
