About the Role

Uber Freight is a transportation management provider, offering a suite of transportation management and global trade services. We're looking for an Account Executive who is passionate about the prospect of working on something from the ground up! The

candidate will be a natural at selling, excited about the transportation and logistics industry, technology, and enjoys working with internal and external stakeholders. You’ll use your skills in customer-facing communication, problem-solving, and driving internal

processes to set our partnerships up for success. The Account Executive is encouraged to develop a comprehensive understanding of all services within the Uber Freight portfolio! You will close and contract new business relationships, lead those

relationships through implementation, and maintain contact with clients through the life of the agreement for purposes of continuity and service.

What You’ll Do

  • Become authority on Uber Freight Transportation Management offerings
  • Drive top-line logo acquisition
  • Work cross functionally to ensure alignment and success of new accounts
  • Drive forward the future vision of Uber Freight with our product team and help

sell that vision to our customers

  • Engage with senior level team members of our Transportation Management


  • Solution and product selling to Global 2000 accounts
  • Experience selling large, complex transportation or supply chain solutions
  • Identify, scope, and close new business without significant support

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years professional experience
  • 2+ years of acquisition sales experience
  • Able to travel ~50% to meet with clients and internal collaborators.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience identifying, generating, and closing new business
  • A hunter mentality; thrives on winning in a competitive environment
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding annual sales quotas
  • Experience maximizing CRM to track and report on leads, sales, and customer

management activities.

  • Business acuity and presence required to build credible relationships with EVP

and C‐Suite level clients.

  • Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal and presentation skills;

comfortable and credible with both internal team members and external


  • A flexible, dynamic, self‐demanding and proactive individual; able to motivate

him/herself and others.
