Job Summary:

The Export Logistics Coordinator is responsible for activities related to Export shipments, acting as the liaison with all parties to ensure a smooth and complete transaction. The individual will produce accurate shipping documentation, oversee all aspects of international shipment. He or she will get knowledge and expertise with company’s current processes and each customer’s requirements and will support Global Trade Compliance Manager to implement changes and streamline the process. This position will report to Global Trade Compliance Manager

You Will:

  • Proactively manages all aspects of international shipping.
  • Daily processing of international orders through maintaining Export Compliance.
  • Create export paperwork (Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Origin. etc.) for all international orders.
  • Coordinate with other internal departments to timely obtain additional export supporting documents such as Quality Certificate, Certificate of Conformity, Free Sales Certificate, etc.
  • Receive freight quotations from the carriers, determine the most economical means of shipping, and arrange and coordinate cargo movement to international destinations.
  • Proper export declaration of the Electronic Export Information (EEI).
  • Liaise directly with customers, carriers, customer service and other internal parties, providing export documentation and relaying proper information to appropriate parties.
  • Process freight claims and other complaints
  • Performs additional duties and assignments as directed by management.

You Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2-3 years of experience in Export Import Operations
  • Extensive knowledge of INCO terms and trade regulatory laws and requirements such as Country of Origin, HTS Codes, ECCN, Free Trade Agreements and Rules of Origin, Etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize, multitask, organize, and manage time effectively
  • Effective communication skills with customers, vendors, and co-workers
  • PC Proficient: Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
