How will you make an impact?

The Systems Analyst is responsible for assessing, estimating, administering, supporting and managing the effective and efficient delivery of the projects, enhancements and service delivery (break/fix) on the QAD-Precision Application.

What will you do?

  • Effective and efficient delivery of all functional & administration activities to ensure that it is delivered in consistent, harmonized and optimal manner within the guidelines of the Project Management Framework (PMF) within the QAD-Precision application.
  • Work on all modules within QA-Precision like Order Trade Compliance, Export Management, Transportation Execution, Package Exception Management, Import Management etc
  • Assessment/blueprinting of enhancements and projects related to the QAD-Precision application
  • On time delivery of functional and server administration aspects to support the business needs
  • Quality of delivery of all functional aspects functional and server administration activities of enhancements and projects
  • Delivery and support of incident/break/fix and production support.
  • Effectively manage the relationship with internal business partners.
  • Collaborate with other team members to deliver a seamless global project execution model. Gather and effectively use data to deliver continuous improvement.
  • Actively participate in project and enhance reviews
  • Prepare functional specifications for conversions and enhancements
  • Manage the Server Administration and Promotion activities along with configuration as required.
  • Lead the Release coordination meeting for changes
  • Coordinate with Precision Vendor for Development and additional support and update the progress of developing activities.
  • Provide and support user training where appropriate.

How will you get here?

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Project Management, Management Information Systems or equivalent work experience acceptable.

Experience

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of working with a TMS/ GTC/WMS System like Precision, Kewill, AEB, Manhattan interfaced with a major ERP like Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne or SAP
  • 2 years of experience in a similarly complex technical organization
  • Knowledge of Server Admin (Windows/UNIX) / Scripting language is a plus

Tool & Technology Skills

  • System Analysis on ERP/WMS/TMS/Server Admin on Windows/Unix
  • Agile DevOps experience

  • Ability to set expectations, explain and champion detailed technical concepts to peers, management and business partners
  • Ability to translate details into specific tasks needed to accomplish a task or solve a problem
  • Excellent customer service skills required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, including ability to communicate information to both technical and non-technical staff and management
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving complex environment
  • Proven ability to navigate the technology environment and work effectively with multiple groups around the globe
  • Strong negotiation/persuasion and analytical skills
  • Ability to communicate and manage in a matrix organization with multiple business partners and IT colleagues on a remote basis
  • Must have the ability to question the status quo
