Program Management Manager
The Joint Combat Weapon Systems (JCWS) program area is seeking a Program Manager (PM) in Orlando, FL, responsible for Javelin missile domestic and international platform expansion executing current and future offsets / Industrial Participation projects, and leading capture effort for the next generation Javelin variants. Platform expansion can include land, air and sea assets from which a Javelin missile can be employed with current emphasis on wheeled or tracked, manned and unmanned, military ground combat vehicles.
The successful candidate will be responsible for working within the Javelin Joint Venture (Raytheon/Lockheed Martin JJV) management structure, and with platform, Remote Weapon Station (RWS) and turret Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), to develop and implement a strategic plan to achieve Javelin’s platform expansion objectives with current and future domestic and international Javelin customers. As part of the platform expansion roadmap, this PM will also serve as the capture manager for new US and International platform mounted lethality requirements and work closely with the Javelin Joint Venture Development teams to envision the next generation Javelin missile past G-model. This candidate will also be responsible for executing current and future offset and/or industrial participation programs with partner nations and international companies. The responsibilities will include working with cross-functional integrated product teams of Business Development, Engineering, Contracts, International Trade Compliance, Global Supply Chain, and Finance.
Program management experience with success in business capture and program execution
- Proposal management experience
- Demonstrated skills working with cross functional teams
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Ability to build relationships with the Javelin Joint Venture partner (Raytheon), platform OEMs, and US and International Militaries
- Experience with international trade compliance (ITC), export policy, and licensing
- Willing and able to support frequent domestic and international travel
Joint Venture program management experience
- International Business Capture experience
- Familiarity with the Javelin program, product line and the JJV
- Experience in Foreign Military Sales (FMS)
- Experience in international offset projects and satisfying financial offset liabilities
