Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Ensure full compliance of import operation activities are met based on U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations.
  • Handle tracking, tracing, and data entry for the movement of inbound shipments. Prepare weekly internal delivery schedule for internal stakeholders.
  • Provide logistics support with new product launches, escalated product and other critical or time sensitive product movements.
  • Serve as department lead for creation, management, and disposition of procedures as well as external procedures and work instructions for trade partners.
  • Implement practices to drive down shipment exceptions and temperature deviations. Lead investigations as necessary and implement CAPAs (Corrective and Preventative Actions) as applicable.
  • Collaborate daily with import team to ensure departmental goals are met.
  • Facilitate and ensure cost efficient freight movements of domestic/import/export shipments.

The minimum qualifications for this role are:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 4-5 years of experience. However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration.
  • Must possess knowledge of import operation requirements, transportation and internal distribution processes.
  • Must possess strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, organizational, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Must have the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and assignments concurrently.
  • Must possess strong computer skills including vast experience with Microsoft Excel and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading and writing English is required.

Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. The salary range for this position is $ $70,000 - $124,000.
