What You'll Get To Do:


Trade Compliance Project Management:

  • Foster partnership with customers, stakeholders, sponsors.
  • Coordinate resource needs and availability between vendors, sponsors, PEXNA Trade Compliance and Logistics, etc.
  • Communicate transparently and frequently on issues and status of project with sponsor and PEXNA Trade Compliance and Logistics management.
  • Create and manage project plans.
  • Lead process of issue identification and resolution plus risk tracking.
  • Monitor and manage scope and required project documentation.
  • Develop and deliver complete process and documentation including but not limited to SOPs, KPIs and Reporting processes and methodologies.
  • Ongoing support and management of Forced Labor and CTPAT Supply Chain requirements as well as management of shorter term projects related to management of Country of Origin validation, Free Trade Agreement validation, post entry projects and other as required.

Trade Compliance Project Portfolio Management:

  • Administer resource planning, matching available supply to specific project demands and assigning priority to projects to guide project resources.
  • Set and enforce project methodology and process standards using appropriate tools.
  • Set and measure KPIs for overall project and portfolio performance and publish the KPI performance.
  • Escalate individual performance or process issues to ensure prompt management action.

Trade Compliance Governance:

  • Ensure that all Trade Compliance governance, compliance, security and change control needs are met.
  • Provide weekly reports to PEXNA Trade Compliance and Logistics and Sponsor management highlighting issues and escalations needed.
  • Produce and manage dashboards of relevant project portfolio KPI performance.
  • Ensure that system solution standards are not violated in conjunction with the Enterprise Architect and the Application Manager.

Project Manager Development:

  • Mentor new and existing team members in best practices and standards.
  • Develop team members’ skills by offering growth opportunities.
  • Actively seek continual improvement of tool capabilities and skills in the department.

What You'll Bring:

Education and Experience:

  • Project Management Professional, PMP, certification or equivalent experience required
  • Minimum of 5 to 8 years experience in import related trade compliance activities such as entry, classification, post entry, free trade agreements, or degree in related field plus experience is required.
  • Direct experience in CTPAT Supply Chain and Forced Labor preferred.
  • Licensed Customs Broker preferred.

Other Requirements:

  • Up to 25 percent travel is possible
