As a Transportation Manager (Global Forwarding ) you will manage global material movements for CUESI with responsibility for trade compliance and inventory control. The successful candidate will interact daily with our sales team, dealers and logistics providers and draw on Caterpillar subject matter experts as needed for compliance support. This is a supervisory role.

What you will do:

  • Export complete generator sets to dealers / customers in more than 20 countries
  • Manage material movements supporting production (land, ocean & air)
  • Manage relationships with logistics providers to execute shipments
  • Vet new customers and destinations leveraging Caterpillar subject matter experts to ensure compliance with relevant regulations
  • Own all primary transactional processes, leading changes as appropriate to ensure activity transacts in a timely, accurate and compliant manner
  • Lead inventory accuracy and surplus reviews
  • Lead periodic trade compliance testing and reviews assuring ongoing compliance

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience with international shipping and logistics
  • Experience collaborating across teams
  • Working knowledge of trade compliance
  • Strong communication skills
  • 4-year degree

Top Candidates Have:

  • Work experience with freight forwarder or third-party logistics provider
  • Experience supporting a sales organization, fulfilling customer shipments
  • Experience collaborating across business units or with outside parties
  • Bachelor’s or advanced business-related degree
  • Spanish language skills

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary for this role ranges from $91,896.00 to $137,844.00. Actual salary will be based on experience.

STIP: Salary Grade 21 at 12%, subject to annual eligibility and incentive plan guidelines.
