Full Job Description
The Mold Operator will support production demands by performing essential molding duties. The Molding Operator will be responsible for operating various mold machines as needed and performing advanced machine set ups.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Be able to set-up and operate CNC molding machines with existing programs and tooling information.
- Be able to perform most adjustments to molding parameters to produce accurate quality parts.
- Have good understanding of most types of mold tooling used in CNC molding and their proper application.
- Have basic understanding of machine program communication equipment, PC’s, and software.
- Have basic understanding of QA inspection equipment and procedures.
- Be able to work with minimum supervision.
- Required to complete all quality production documents; includes but not limited to First Article Inspection (FAI), Day by Hour Reports, and others as required.
- Required to perform any other duties as assigned
Education and / or Experience:
High school diploma or GED & 2 years minimum experience in mold shop environment.
Possess basic math skills.
Must be able to solve simple problems related to mold tooling / quality of product.
