Export Documentation/ Transportation Specialist
Position Summary
Responsible for producing all paperwork necessary to facilitate the exportation of Parker products, both Domestic and International to Latin American customers; including and not limited to Shippers Letter of Instruction, Commercial Invoice, and Summary Sheets.
Scope/Supervision & Interaction
Work independently while reporting to the Supervisor III. This position interfaces with all Parker Divisions, Distributors, and Customers in Latin America, as well as Division Staff, Parker personnel and freight forwarders.
Responsibilities
- Generate the complete shipment documents, Invoices, export documents, packing slips.
- Utilize US Customs Regulations, Harmonized Tariff Schedule, Export Regulations and any resources to ensure Export Compliance.
- Interface with Freight Forwarders to ensure shipment documentation is received and shipments are processed.
- Perform related duties as assigned or as necessary to ensure Export Compliance.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of related experience.
- Strong knowledge of exporting procedures.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Excellent English and Spanish oral and written communication skills.
- Math background.
- Basic Microsoft Office skills.
