Job Description

Reporting directly to the Trade Compliance Officer, the Trade Compliance Manager will develop and manage comprehensive internal export and import controls to ensure compliance with US and Foreign regulations in the conduct of international marketing, sales, supply chain and other business activities.

Essential Functions:

• Develop import/export options and strategies with Contracts, Purchasing, Logistics, Program Management, Manufacturing Operations, and Business Development to meet company goals.
• Mentor entire business organization to ensure compliance with all import and export regulations.
• Ability to self-classify articles and services with program management and engineering support.
• Supports development, implementation, and maintenance of records..
• Develop, prepare, submit and manage import / export licenses, agreements, and exemptions / exceptions.
• Provide specific training and guidelines to employees who will be executing work under export authorizations.
• Identifies process improvement opportunities, provides feedback, and offers solutions.
• Perform duties as a DDTC Empowered Official.
• Participate in compliance audits, investigations and reports.
• Identify new compliance procedures and training requirements with document updates .

• Requirements
• •Education: Bachelor’s Degree required.

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience required; prefer 10 years direct applicable experience. In-depth and direct working experience with FTR, ITAR, EAR, ATFE, Census AES, CBP ACE, and OFAC regulations required. General knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel required. Requires clear and concise communication skills.
