We analyzed current job postings to see how much employers value trade licenses and certifications. The verdict? Roughly 60% of all customs and trade compliance jobs mention at least one credential.

• Customs Broker: 95% mention an LCB (often required).
• Trade Compliance Manager / Director: 60–75% mention an LCB as required or strongly preferred.
• Trade Compliance Specialist / Analyst: 55–70% prefer an LCB, CCS, CUSECO, or CES.
• Import / Export Coordinator / Entry Writer: 25–35% note a certification (usually CCS) is "a plus."
