Lead Tariff Compliance Specialist| Pay Range: $112,240.00 - $145,810.00

The Lead Tariff Compliance Specialist plays a key role in helping Southwest Power Pool maintain organizational compliance with the SPP Tariff while supporting the reliable operation of the bulk electric grid and wholesale energy markets. This position serves as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert, partnering closely with business units to provide oversight, guidance, and monitoring of tariff requirements and compliance obligations across the organization.
In this role, you’ll collaborate across teams to evaluate compliance risk, assess implementation efforts for new and revised tariff requirements, and support the development of practical, risk-based internal controls that strengthen operational accountability. You’ll also work closely with stakeholders throughout the organization to promote a proactive culture of compliance and help ensure business processes align with evolving tariff expectations.
We’re looking for a strategic, detail-oriented compliance professional who thrives in complex regulatory environments and enjoys partnering with stakeholders to solve problems, drive accountability, and support organizational compliance efforts. Successful candidates will bring strong analytical and communication skills, experience interpreting regulatory or tariff requirements, and the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across multiple business areas.

This is a full-time, hybrid position based in Little Rock, Arkansas, with a minimum requirement of two days per week in the office. Standard work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional extended hours as needed.
