Perform daily sanction party screening of new and existing business partners using SAP GTS and MIC software
Review and analyze potential matches (“hits”) flagged by the system against sanction party lists and databases
Determine if these hits are false positives or require further escalation, documenting findings accordingly
Conduct basic KYBP due diligence for business partners as part of export control and sanction compliance requirements
Escalate complex or suspicious cases promptly to Regional Export Control Managers or senior specialists
Assist in the preparation and documentation of compliance reports and audit requests related to screening activities
Collaborate with relevant internal stakeholders (e.g., Procurement, Sales) to gather necessary information for KYBP and sanction screenings
Keep updated with basic knowledge of sanction regulations and participate in compliance training as needed
Support export control and trade compliance processes as directed by supervisors or compliance leads
Provide guidance to Junior Export Control & Sanction Analyst, sharing best practices and support knowledge transfer within the team.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in Business, Law, International Trade, or related discipline
More than 5 years of experience in compliance, export control, trade, or related roles
Previous experience in export control or trade compliance roles within an international company, bank or financial institution
Basic understanding of export control, sanction, and trade compliance regulations
Experience or willingness to work with sanction screening software, ideally SAP GTS and/ or MIC
Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze business partner information accurately
Good communication skills in English and Mandarin
Ability to work collaboratively within a team and follow documented processes
Knowledge of sanction party lists (e.g., OFAC, EU, UN)
Familiarity with KYBP (Know Your Business Partner) concepts and trade compliance due diligence
Previous experience in export control or trade compliance roles within an international company, bank or financial institution
Basic SAP GTS & MIC system knowledge or experience with compliance screening tools
