The Global Export \u0026 Sanctions Compliance (GESC) team at Apple ensures compliance with worldwide laws governing the export of technology and products, developing creative, innovative solutions to complex compliance challenges. As an integral member of GESC, you will be responsible for a wide array of activities to:\\n•\\tMonitor and manage compliance with PRC export regulations and countermeasure regimes, including but not limited to the PRC Export Control Law (ECL), Anti-Foreign Sanctions Law (AFSL), Provisions on the Unreliable Entity List, Regulations on the Export Control of Dual-Use Items, and Administrative Regulations on the Import/Export of Technologies, alongside the U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and other applicable foreign trade regulations.\\n•\\tManage and support export, re-export, deemed export controls, as well as license applications for China-based transactions or activities involving Chinese personnel. \\n•\\tTrack changes to restricted/denied party lists and controlled-items lists (PRC and US) affecting Apple"s China operations and supply chain.\\n•\\tAdvise engineering, supply chain, and R\u0026D teams on controlled technology handling pertaining to advanced and emerging technologies.\\n•\\tSupport restricted/denied party screening and sanctions/countermeasure risk assessments for China-based transactions and partners.\\n•\\tProvide technical and strategic support to business and operations teams to address export compliance issues pertaining to cross-border activities involving China supply chain. \\n•\\tCollaborate with the broader GESC team on regulatory analysis, due diligence, and risk mitigation involving Chinese entities or individuals.\\n•\\tParticipate in cross-functional sanctions/export coordination to ensure a unified compliance posture worldwide.\\nIn addition, you will be expected to participate and contribute to the many other facets of responsibilities which the global export and sanctions compliance team manages across the company. 5+ years of export compliance experience\\nExperience with restricted/denied party screening and reviews \\nExperience in managing compliance programs for China export control and countermeasure regimes \\nExcellent project management and documentation skills\\nBachelor’s degree in law, engineering, international business, international trade, or a related degree or equivalent work experience. \\n

Knowledge in material engineering and computer science is a plus \\nExperience working in or proven ability to learn quickly and support new areas of regulation and technology\\nStrong work ethic and collaboration skills including with an international team\\nAbility to lead, act and provide direction in the face of ambiguity and to get results in diverse, fast-paced environments\\nStrong analytical capability with attention to detail and ability to clearly organize and inform through excellent written and verbal communications\\nAbility to build relationships and partner at all levels of the organization\\nFamiliarity with international regulations and experience with investigating and researching companies and individuals for sanctions/countermeasure risks\\nMac, MacOS and iOS proficiency\\n
