Export Compliance & Licensing Specialist based in Rochester, NY

Position Summary:
Talent Source is seeking an Export Compliance & Licensing Specialist to support international licensing activities for Central & Eastern Europe. This role is responsible for managing export compliance processes, maintaining export license data, and ensuring that all pre-sale and post-sale license requirements are aligned with program commitments. This specialist will work cross-functionally with Program Management, Sales, Trade Compliance, and Engineering teams to ensure efficient approvals and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage end-to-end ECAAP and ISNR processes for assigned regional programs
• Develop and maintain a regional export license database for tracking and reporting
• Coordinate pre-sale and post-sale export licensing requirements and documentation
• Ensure timely approvals and accuracy of all export licensing submissions
• Manage and maintain TAA status through amendments, renewals, signatures, and closure
• Oversee customer sign-off on DSP-83 and End-User Licenses (EUL)
• Support submission and completion of DSP-5, DSP-6, and Commerce licenses
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure export approvals align with program schedules and customer needs
• Support audits, reviews, and process improvements related to export compliance

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Minimum 5 years of experience in program management, trade compliance, or export licensing
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Proactive and self-driven, with strong attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PPT, Outlook)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to coordinate across multiple teams

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with ITAR, EAR, and international export compliance regulations
• Experience working with international customers and multi-national teams
• Familiarity with tactical communications products and export licensing processes
• Experience in database tracking and reporting
