Export Controls & Government Contracts Associate (Mid-Level) - Washington D.C.

An Am Law 100 Law Firm is seeking a mid-level Associate to join our International Trade and Government Contracts Practices in Washington, D.C. Job Requirements:

• Experience: 3 to 5 years of advising clients on a wide range of export controls issues, with a strong preference for candidates who have experience advising government contractors on regulatory matters.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with export control laws and regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
• Skills: Experience navigating regulatory matters related to government regulations, contract disputes, defense of claims, and government investigations is highly desirable. Prior representation of clients before the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) and/or the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) is also a plus.

Candidates must be in good standing with the D.C. Bar or be willing to gain admission as soon as practicable.

Compensation:

The expected salary range for this position is $245,000 to $345,000.
