Strategic Oversight & Governance<\/b>

- Oversee end -to -end international trade flows at a global level without direct involvement in daily clearance
<\/span><\/li>- Ensure local teams comply with global trade and regulatory standards
<\/span><\/li>- Analyze data to identify operational bottlenecks, compliance risks, and improvement opportunities
<\/span><\/li>- Resolve complex, high -impact issues beyond local team capabilities
<\/span><\/li>- Develop high -level dashboards and reports to provide visibility to senior management
Process Transformation & Automation<\/b>
<\/span><\/li>- Assess and understand current manual workflows within GTPC operations
<\/span><\/li>- Identify opportunities to replace manual processes with automated systems
<\/span><\/li>- Design and implement automation strategies to improve efficiency and accuracy
<\/span><\/li>- Collaborate with IT and global stakeholders to develop digital solutions and reduce human error
<\/span><\/li>- Drive transformation from manual “checking” processes to exception -based management
Research & Strategic Advisory<\/b>
<\/span><\/li>- Lead research on new trade lanes, regulatory changes, and duty optimization strategies (HTS/FTA)
<\/span><\/li>- Develop and standardize global trade playbooks and best practices
<\/span><\/li>- Provide expert advisory to internal stakeholders on trade compliance and optimization
<\/span><\/li>- Foster strong collaboration across departments to improve workflow efficiency
Leadership & Ownership<\/b>
<\/span><\/li>- Lead and develop a team of Assistant Managers and Executives
<\/span><\/li>- Drive the team’s transition from operational execution to analytical and strategic roles
<\/span><\/li>- Take full ownership of the GTPC roadmap and continuous improvement initiatives
<\/span><\/li>- Influence and align local teams with global strategies and system adoption
<\/span><\/li><\/ul>
<\/div><\/span>Requirements<\/h3>
- Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline
<\/span><\/li>- Minimum 5 years of experience in global trade, import/export regulations, and compliance
<\/span><\/li>- Strong knowledge of customs regulations, HS classification, rules of origin, FTA, and customs valuation
<\/span><\/li>- Experience in FMCG industry (e.g., food, retail) is an added advantage
<\/span><\/li>- Proven leadership experience with strong people management skills
<\/span><\/li>- Excellent analytical thinking with a data -driven mindset
<\/span><\/li>- Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken)
<\/span><\/li>- Ability to understand Mandarin is an added advantage
<\/span><\/li><\/ul>
