Our client in the Logistics industry is currently looking for a Senior Export Controller, in Durban, Kwa – Zulu Natal.

Responsibilities:  
  • Plan the freight movement.
  • Coordinate freight movement.
  • Process Customs and other statutory documents required for Customs clearance.
  • Administration of file.
  • Process claims.
  • Effect creditors disbursements and process debtors’ invoices.
  • Provide guidance to Export Controllers and Learners.
  • Comply with the requirements of the Customs Accreditation System.
  • Comply with the requirements of the quality management system.

Requirements:
  • 5 – 7 years export controlling experience in the Clearing and Forwarding Industry with proven track record of end-to-end process execution.
  • Co-ordinate the freight movement of export cargo through the international transport chain in terms of the client’s export requirements.
  • INCO Terms.
  • Transport modal selection.
  • Carrier conditions of carriage sections of Ex control.
  • Act. Commercial, transport, carrier, and statutory department documents.
  • Customs and other statutory body cargo clearance procedure.
  • Export freight document flow procedure.
  • Geography.
  • Good communication skills (Written & Verbal)
  • Client orientation.
  • Action and result orientation.
  • Time Management.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Financial discipline/acumen.

Remuneration:
  • Up to R42 000 per month.
