The Trade Compliance Specialist will be the main sponsor of Korea & Japan Trade Compliance Program, overseeing and managing Korea & Japan‘s trade compliance to ensure company’s daily business activities comply with applicable export control laws and regulations, including regulations of Korea & Japan and any other country where an Entegris facility is located in. These are mainly achieved by coordinating import and export compliance activities, performing audits, training and record keeping, and by providing guidance and recommendations to compliance related issue to mitigate risks. This position is located in Suwon, South Korea and reports to the Asia Trade Compliance Manager in Shanghai.

• Working with different stakeholders and provide suggestion or solutions to any issues related to trade compliance.
• Follow up and tracking of Government policy change, implement and integrate such changes into existing Entegris’ policies, and report, provide training to relative stakeholders
• Daily Korea & Japan Compliance Operations support, including GTS blocks release (orders release), export license applications, different systems sign-off (DRF, MDM, customer screening, etc.), compliance assessment of new product/new project, obtaining product classification from KOSTI per customers’ request, commodity code verification and maintenance, reporting to Government, and others.
• Project management, including Korea and Japan compliance training program setup, audit program setup and execution (internal & external audit), various compliance related SOP setup and development, KR & JP commodity code database cleanup, current Korean Plant Compliance Program (CP) enhancement and improvement, and support of other non-regular projects as assigned by the management
• Managing, mentoring, and providing necessary guidance for the KR compliance temp. stuff to support KR compliance daily activities.

• 10+ years of experience in similar industry. Experience in compliance or supply chain management would be an advantage
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or the related field
• Familiar with Korea Export Control Regulation, experience with Japan and US export control regulations would be an added advantage
• Proficient in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Experience in SAP/GTS is preferred
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and reporting skills
• Multitasking and able to make prioritization, outline a workable plan and schedule to achieve goal and project completeness in time
• Excellent communication skills. Ability to communicate with different stakeholders, business partners and Government agencies to convey accurate message and obtain information needed
• Fluent English oral and in writing is required and Japanese language would be an advantage
