We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Trade Compliance Officer to join our team. In this full-time position, you will manage the import and export compliance process at Aerospace Dynamics International, Inc., ensuring import compliance as required by the Customs Regulations and relevant import activity government agencies and also export compliance to ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) as well as EAR (Export Administration Regulations). You will be responsible for reviewing routine import and export shipments, ensuring that solid compliance procedures are in place, and maintaining records in accordance with the Customs Regulations, ITAR and EAR regulations. The Trade Compliance Officer will also manage export and import licenses.
This position reports directly to the site’s General Manager and requires at least three years of experience working with ITAR and EAR regulated goods as well as having a Customs Broker license or demonstrated experience in import compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a good understanding of export/import regulations, and the ability to work effectively both independently and within a team. A customs brokerage license is preferred.
