Job Summary: The Data Entry Trade Compliance Analyst is a dual-focus role responsible for the precise management of import/export data and the rigorous oversight of Mexican trade compliance programs. This position ensures that all commercial operations are reflected accurately in the companyโ€™s ERP and specialized compliance systems, directly supporting the legal health of the IMMEX program and Annex 24/31 controls. Schedule: On-site Monday through Friday. This is a 9โ€“12 month contract position with the potential to convert to a full-time role. ย  Key Responsibilities: I. IMMEX & Regulatory Compliance Inventory Control: Maintain strict oversight of temporarily imported goods, ensuring accurate identification and tracking within Annex 24 and Annex 31 systems. Customs Documentation: Coordinate "Virtual Pedimento" operations with customs brokers, customers, and suppliers to ensure fluid material movement. Regulatory Maintenance: Keep IMMEX program information up to date, ensuring full compliance with the Mexican Customs Law (Ley Aduanera) and SAT regulations. Financial Alignment: Maintain accurate Glosa and Data Stage records for accounting and audit readiness. Operational Integration: Partner cross-functionally with Logistics, Finance, and Operations to integrate trade compliance into daily business execution. ย  II. Data Management & System Analysis: Order & Data Entry: Accurately enter and process sales orders and trade data into the ERP system (Oracle), ensuring precision in pricing, quantities, and commercial terms. Data Validation: Validate that all entries comply with internal commercial policies, price lists, and credit controls prior to system release. Discrepancy Resolution: Monitor order status and identify, analyze, and resolve data inconsistencies within the system to prevent downstream errors in invoicing or shipping. Technical Research: Use Oracle, or web-based tools to research product characteristics that support accurate HTS (Harmonized Tariff System) classifications. Reporting: Utilize tools like Power BI and Excel to generate reports on data accuracy and compliance status. ย  Qualifications: Experience & Education Education: Bachelorโ€™s degree in International Trade or International Business Administration. Experience: 3+ years in international logistics, import/export, or customs compliance with a strong background in high-volume data entry. Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of Mexican customs regulations, specifically IMMEX, Annex 24/31, and VAT/IEPS certifications. Software: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Experience with ERP systems (Oracleย  preferred). Use of ARANXEL is a plus. Analytics: Ability to use Power BI and interpret complex data sets. Languages: Full professional fluency in both Spanish and English is required. Accuracy: Exceptional attention to detail when entering technical data. Urgency: Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment to meet customs deadlines. Problem Solving: Capability to handle non-standardized situations and draw valid conclusions from complex instructions.
